On October 29th 1976 a handsome boy was born to the proud parents of Alvin (deceased) and Coralee Rolle whom they call Jernesco Bronson Rolle. He was affectionately called “Jesco” by his family and “Jay” by his friends.

Jay began his early education at National Academy. He later went to Hawksbill Primary and graduated at Hawksbill High School in 1994. Upon high school completion he moved to Nassau. In 1995 he started working as a waiter at the Old Holiday Inn and was then transferred to Atlantis where he worked in Sea Grapes Restaurant and later transferred to Banquet until the time of his death. He has been employed with the company for 19 years.

Jay was a person who played jokes and games on family members and friends all the time. He always said you’ll either love or hate me because this is me and I’m going to be real. Jay had over thousands of friends on Facebook where he spent most of his time joking or speaking his mind. His last Facebook messages were telling his Facebook friends how to survive a heart attack when you are alone and he wanted them to share it if they cared for others. He later posted a prayer saying, “Dear God thank you for my family and friends and whoever is reading this bless them in a way they never known before”.

Moments after posting this prayer on January 4th 2014, the Lord took him away. “Jay” we love you but Jesus loves you best so until we meet again may your soul rest in peace.

Got my prayers answered for YOU, my friend, confidant and brother at heart. You have God's BEST, that is to be with him! Our friendship was divinely purposed. We've weathered storms together, literally and figuratively! Death will never separate our love for each other Jesco. Prayers, well wishes of divine strength and favor to your beautiful daughters, and the entire family; along with those of us that God found great favor with to have you as a friend. I of course, am a double recipient, as you WERE MY TRUE FRIEND. You know I LOVE YOU...ALWAYS WILL!

When I wake up in the morning I ask myself, "How will I get through this day without you?" As I get dress and prepare to start my day I wonder, "How will I go on without you?" As the day slowly slips away I remember how you made me laugh and I smile without you. At the end of the day as I close my eyes, I know in my heart I couldn't have gotten through the day without you. J, No one will ever understand the special bond that we shared. Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.

Its so hard to say goodbye to someone who was so full of life. To someone who brought such joy to others. To someone who is so near and dear to my heart. Jesco, I am still floored by your passing and I guess I will never truly understand why you were taken so early. Your friendship was truly valued and I thank God for the time he allowed me to have you in my life. There isn't many like you, you UNDERSTOOD and lived by the definition of a TRUE FRIEND! Thick or thin, you were there. You were my brother, my ride or die! Boy, you touched many, so I guess in a way you served the purpose you were sent for. Words cannot begin to describe how much I'm gonna miss you, but God knows best. I love you hun and your memory will forever remain in my heart. Until we meet again.... R.I.P. Jernesco.
